Neuro Scan — Automated Medical Image Diagnostic App

The Problem & Product Discovery
This project started as an intensive Artificial Intelligence coursework group assignment at university. We were exploring how computer vision models could be trained to identify anomalies in brain scans. While our group successfully built a highly accurate model, the product-thinker in me realized that a raw Python script in a terminal is completely useless to a real doctor in a clinical setting. I wanted to push the project further than just getting a good grade. I set out to take our complex, heavy AI model and wrap it in a clean, accessible web interface so it could actually be interacted with like a real-world medical diagnostic tool.
Architecture & Execution
I spearheaded the development of a high-accuracy machine learning web application capable of identifying anomalies in medical imaging. I translated complex computer vision models into an accessible, user-centric interface, optimizing the technical data pipeline to securely accept diagnostic imaging and deliver instantaneous, structured medical classifications directly to the end-user.
